Lane Smith, local outstanding soccer player in Idaho, stands with bags of soccer balls he collected for the kids of Swaziland. Lane encouraged his friends and teammates to drop off their used soccer equipment at Athlete’s Choice (Sandpoint, Idaho), owned by Lane’s father, Ray Smith. The balls and soccer shoes will be distributed by The Luke Commission, an Idaho-based non-profit organization which offers free medical treatment at mobile bush clinics in Swaziland, the tiny southern African country with the highest AIDS rate in the world.
