Doctrinal Statement

BIBLE
We believe in the scriptures of the Old and New Testaments as verbally inspired of God and inerrant in the original writings and that they are of supreme and final authority in faith and life.

GOD
We believe in one God, holy, eternal, omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent, and immutable, existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

GOD THE FATHER
God the Father sovereignly governs the heavens and the earth and all things seen and unseen according to His own purpose and grace. Sin is a direct offense against the Father, yet He offers forgiveness to all who come to Him through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

GOD THE SON
Jesus Christ is the God the Son, Creator of all things, and the only begotten Son of the Father. Conceived by the Holy Spirit, He was born of a virgin. He is God incarnate, truly man and truly God in essence and character. He became flesh to seek and save the lost and to present Himself as the perfect and sinless sacrifice for all men for all time. His resurrection defeated death and proved His Deity. He ascended physically to the Father and continually intercedes for those redeemed through faith in Him. He righteously judges all creation.

GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT
The Holy Spirit is totally and completely God. He is eternally existent and equal in essence and character to the Father and Son. He works in the world today to convict and convince men of their sins, enabling them to repent. He comforts, encourages, instructs, indwells, seals and empowers the children of God, all the while interceding before the Father on their behalf. He inspired the Scriptures.

SALVATION
Because man is unable to save himself, God, in His infinite love, provided the means of salvation. Paying the penalty of our sins by shedding His blood on the cross, Christ purchased our redemption. Man, being drawn by the Holy Spirit, must submit to the Lord Jesus Christ by repenting of his sins and asking Jesus to be his Savior. God then receives us as His adopted children and grants to us every spiritual blessing available in Christ. As Salvation depends solely on God's grace through faith in Christ, so does the believer's confidence concerning our position as adopted children.

END TIMES
There shall be a bodily resurrection of the just and of the unjust; for the former, a resurrection unto life; for the latter, a resurrection unto judgment. The Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ is imminent and will be personal, visible, and at a time known only to the Father. This is the believer's blessed hope and is a vital truth, which is an incentive to holy living and faithful service.
