“We Can Always Pray…”
Bob & Ruth Munts have been Luke Commission supporters since the beginning. Actually, the Munts are VanderWal supporters from way back.
“They’re like our own kids,” noted Bob of Harry and Echo.
Bob has known Echo since she was in 2nd grade and attended a small Christian school in Sandpoint, Idaho.
“I tell people it’s like what people in the Bible said, ‘Can anything good come out of Nazareth?’” teased Bob. “I say ‘Can anything good come out of Sandpoint?’”
“The answer to both is ‘yes’ and Echo is proof of that,” said Bob.
Three years ago the Munts traveled every week to TLC office to pray for the VanderWals and the medical missions in Swaziland.
Ruth is 88 years old in delicate health, so prayers are now sent heavenward from their home. But petitioning God on behalf of Harry and Echo and the boys still fits into their every day.
“We can always pray. Oh, yes, we can always pray,” declared Ruth.
