Vincent Simelane sees his job as “an appointment from God. I was looking for work and had my CVs everywhere. I applied to be a driver but was told I would do everything. I liked that.”
Much to Vincent’s delight, “I started working for my employer, but my employer wanted me to serve my people. That’s so much better.”
About his beloved people and country, Vincent notes: “I was born and eat bread and butter in Eswatini. When I look at the mountains, I am hungry for the mountains because I grew up there.”
He says of TLC: “They have a vision to upgrade the lives of people. They are here to stay. They care for the elderly and others of all ages –- for their flesh and their souls and minds. I’m happy to be part of God’s great commission.”
At outreaches, Vincent prays with and preaches to patients before they see the doctor. It’s voluntary prayer and a touch of preaching from God’s Word. “People tell me they want to join the prayer circle as much as they want to see the doctor.”
Married with older and younger children, Vincent hopes “they get a better education than their father and understand they are God’s children first.”
