Digital Systems
In an effort to better meet patients’ needs and streamline operations, TLC has piloted Luvelo, a digital ecosystem featuring fully-integrated electronic health record (EHR), supply chain management, and personnel applications.
Luvelo was designed mobile-first and optimized for low-bandwidth environments. It employs high-performance, low-code technology to coordinate care, automate quality checks, and promote equitable health access for TLC’s 300,000 patients annually. Over the past five years, Luvelo has empowered the complete digital transformation of TLC and has been nominated as a finalist in both the MIT SOLVE Awards and Africa Supply Chain Excellence Awards.
Drones
TLC’s medical drone network speeds delivery of critically-needed, high-value medical supplies to and from underserved health facilities.
