Our Community

Look Who’s in TLC Community!

The Luke Commission is a community – a community of people throughout North America stretching across the Atlantic into southern Africa, namely Eswatini. Most of us do not know each other personally. But we know that we are called to treat others as we have been graciously treated throughout our lives. We’d like you to meet some of these TLC community supporters.

Mike & Diana Wright

We learned about Luke Commission when our daughter, a physician assistant, did one her medical rotations in Eswatini. She was excited about her month-long experience and came home to tell us all about it and opportunities to travel there and work on construction projects, which she knew her dad would enjoy

Joe & Amanda Rettig

Amanda and I came to know Harry and Echo in 2009. I was a medical student at Wright State, which took me on a trip to Eswatini. There I witnessed firsthand how TCL was changing not just lives medically and spiritually but an entire country.

Bill and Barbara Richey

Our God is a God of miracles! When we first heard Harry & Echo speak many years ago about this “new” work in Eswatini, we were immediately drawn to this adventure and wanted to be a part of it! Many years later, we are still avid supporters – both in prayer and financial

Bill Dillard and Ami Seems

During our first visit to Eswatini several years ago, we had a chance to work with the Luke Commission. What struck us most was the humble spirit of Harry and Echo. The task was large, but they never waivered or questioned God’s leading.

Pete and Christie Vonderau

Jesus commanded his followers to love God, love their neighbor, and spread the Gospel. The Luke Commission does all three as they minister to the Liswati people. In the most practical of ways, Dr. Harry, Echo, and the entire TLC team show the love of God to those in need of both physical and spiritual healing.
